If you wear a mask long enough you forget who you truly are. Why are you afraid to show people the real you? We wear mask to protect us from fears of rejection, judgment, and insecurities. The more we resist against being our true selves the more unsettled and exposed we actually feel.
All mixed media pieces from my original photographs using:, string, nails and paint.
Abstract photos are not manipulated, they are in their raw form. I aim to capture the vibrations of nature.

This was my third restaurant project with the great and powerful Maggie O'Neill. I was asked to create a story of images about Teddy Roosevelt. It's no shocker that I love creating sexy images, so I was pleased to be a part of it.
To see these images in person check out Teddy & The Bully Bar located in Washington DC.
A little backstory on this project. Teddy used to take diplomatic walks in Rock Creek Park in Washington D.C.. He was also trying to fight prostitution in New York. So we thought what better an idea then Teddy trying to clean up prostitution in Rock Creek Park. Enjoy!

Watch me create my new piece LOVE.
My very first project with the uber talented Maggie O'Neill. I was asked to create a series of photographs for an Abraham Lincoln themed restaurant in Washington, D.C. named 'Lincoln'. I was given three rules to base my series on:
Rule #1- Had to contain Lincoln hats
Rule #2- Had to be provocative
Rule #3- Had to contain tools that would be used as decor in the space
And my mind took it here...
This series also was also an award winner at the Fotoweek exhibit in D.C.
Limited edition prints of this series are available. Contact me for additional information.

Painted photographs. Location//Marrakech Morocco I had a totally meditative experience painting millions of dots in silver and the ever happy color yellow. Image was taken in a mustard field in Morocco on the property of Peacock Pavillions. It really does shimmer like sequins. Muse// Maggie O'Neill #SUPERFIERCE
